Strengthening Global Stability and Prosperity: The U.S.-India 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue of 2023

Both the US and India condemned the attack on Israel by the Islamist group Hamas. This incident marked a rare instance of the two countries aligning their Middle East policy. The invasion of Ukraine by Russia highlighted the divergence between the approaches of the US and India. While the US supported Ukraine, India refrained from criticizing its aggressor. Despite the differences, the two sides maintained their resolve to work together to resolve the issues that they faced.
